Wimer is active as a business investor with his private-equity firm Culhane Capital, LLC.  Wimer is also a principal of Marathon Business Group, LLC, a boutique M&A investment banking firm focused on transactional work with privately-held businesses.

 

Throughout his career, Wimer has been recognized regionally and nationally for finance and operations excellence in industry trade publications and peer organizations such as Geyer’s Magazine, Automatic Merchandiser and Business2Business Magazines and Xerox Corporation, NOMDA and IBBA / M&A Source.

Wimer is a member of the International Business Broker’s Association (IBBA) and M&A Source and is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) and Merger & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI) a designation held by 85 members nationwide; he is also an Associate Member of the American Bar Association (ABA). He is a charter member of The Business Executives Networking Group of Central Pennsylvania (The BENG) and Greater Philadelphia Senior Executives Group (GPSEG).  

He has served on fund-raising committees with the American Cancer Society.  Wimer is frequently invited to speak on entrepreneurial business topics at local universities such as Temple’s Fox School of Business Graduate Entrepreneur program. Wimer is a graduate of Millersville University (PA) with a BA in Psychology and a resident of Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania.
